I have always been lucky when it came to my skin. I never really dealt with acne during puberty, and in my teen years and twenties, you could have described my skin as “normal”. Not too oily, not too dry. I would often get compliments from strangers and friends on my skin, and because it was always this way, I brushed them off with a “thanks” and kind of took what I had for granted.

Pollution. The rising amounts of pollution around the world escalate the rate at which our skin cells degenerate. Other than UV damage, pollution is one of the most crucial elements to protect our skin from. Sensitive skin is becoming more and more common, even in well-taken care of, healthy individuals. A big reason for this is that at this point in history, our skin is exposed to more environmental and chemical irritants than ever before.
